Sesnie Zemichael is a marketing professional with more than 10 years extensive work experience with international organizations, NGO’s & private sector such as: World Bank, CIDA, DFID, Irish Aid, Save the Children & LEMLEM; at the capacity of Finance & administration, Operations manager, Business development, Program management and Communication.

Outside of work she is also a professional makeup artist with the passion of camouflaging scars and skin disorders on people’s faces and beautifying them while restoring their dignity & confidence.

In 2015, she joined Smile Train as a Program Manager for the East African countries: Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, Djibouti & Eritrea. This role brought together her experience working in development along with her ability to enhance & restore beauty. Working for children with cleft lip and palate and giving them the opportunity to smile and live a healthy productive life is what brings her joy and fulfillment.
