Paul Aondona Lobi

Paul Aondona Lobi's experience in the humanitarian sector spans over 14 years. In his present role as Smile Train’s Associate, Education and Training, Africa, he supports education and training initiatives across the region.

He joined Smile Train in 2020 as the pioneer Cleft Helpline Officer, Nigeria, where he was instrumental in connecting cleft-affected families and patients across the country to local treatment centers. He held this position until 2024.

Before joining Smile Train, Paul managed a 10-man medical team that provided free cleft care to over 3,000 patients with cleft across 12 states in Nigeria as program officer at a regional Smile Train partner.

He also served as a third-party monitor in a World Bank-funded project (The National Social Safety Nets Project) in Nasarawa State, Nigeria, overseeing six local government areas and over 400 communities enumerating over 7,000 low-income and vulnerable beneficiaries.
